Nature has always been a great source of inspiration for Tina Backman, whether it´s a new shape or unexpected color combinations. Winter Tree was born when Tina experimented with sketches of branches and reflected upon how beautiful and expressive nature is no matter what time of year it is. Tina continued her work and separated the leaves from the branches. Instead she placed the leaves in different layers and combined the rough and sprawling branches with the soft shapes of the leaves. The color shades in the design remind us of that special, blue dusk that we experience in the late winter time in Scandinavia.
